The Conversation: Hip-Hop Education #HipHopEd

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to sit alongside my colleagues and brothers from Teachers College to talk all things hip-hop education, social justice, teacher education, and the social media movement known as #HipHopEd. This is the latest installment of The Conversation, a web-based series imagined up by Brennan Dubose, that brings together academics, educators, politicians, activists, etc. to discuss timely and important sociocultural and educational issues.

The other panel members include TC doctoral students Ian Levy, Edmund Adjapong, Brian Mooney, as well as a recorded video response from Dr. Monique Lane. I’m humbled to have had the opportunity to be a part of this incredible evening and conversation.

Please watch and spread widely!
